Every man is worth your tears
I was watching a show a few weeks ago, and after a battle, one character mourns the passing of a comrade, and another character tells him "No man is worth your tears." No! I immediately thought. Every man is worth your tears. It reminded me of a line from another show: "If we felt the loss of any soul as keenly as we feel the loss of a loved one, Earth would have a much less bloody history." The worth of souls is great in the sight of God. We are all brothers and sisters, children of Heavenly Father. Peace on earth begins with peace in your heart. Peace in your household, peace in your neighborhood. It begins with feeling kindly about those around you and caring about their welfare. Pray for them, out loud, by name.
