My King, My Light, My Life, and My Hope
Merry Christmas! The last paragraph of The Living Christ states "He is the great King Immanuel...He is the light, the life and the hope of the world." I want to share with you three pictures that illustrate my feelings of how Christ is my King, my Light, my Life, and my Hope. My King: I love this image as a ruler and a protector. See how Jesus smiles at the lamb? See how He loves her? How He holds her close? He carries her and nurtures her, teaches her. And she loves Him and will follow Him anywhere. My Light and My Life: This drawing is titled “A Change of Heart”. I imagine that the hard, dark, broken heart is mine and it lives in the blackness of a sorrowing, lost soul.
