Don't Walk Away, There'll be Better Days
As a kid, whenever I was having a bad day, exasperated with the state of our country and the way the world was going, I would proclaim "This is ridiculous. I'm moving to Australia!" I got the Australia idea from a book titled "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day." I eventually learned, as Alexander did, that they have bad days and and imperfect government and social system in Australia too. And, I extrapolated, every other country on Earth. So, I decided I would need to leave the planet, and move to Mars instead. That stuck around for a few years, but now that Mars is becoming more popular, and thus will be more populated and plagued with all the same problems as Earth, I need a new destination once again.
