To Whom Shall We Go

"To whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life."

In John 6, Jesus said something that offended many disciples, and they left Him.  Jesus turned to the Apostles, and asked if they would also leave.  I imagine he said this with a certain amount of sadness.  Peter, with a young but strong testimony and a love for the Savior answered (I imagine with conviction), "To whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. We believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the Living God".

To whom shall we go?  To whom do we go?  To whom do you go when you need...love? Comfort? Affirmation?  Fulfillment?  Something to do?  When you are bored?  Lonely?  Happy?  Sad?  When you want to talk?

Do you believe that Christ, the Son of the Living God, can do all that and more for you?  Are you unsure if you have the strength and will to do what it takes to follow Him?   Have patience, hope and courage.  Remember, we worship a fourth watch God.  He will come in His timing.  Sometimes it's early, sometimes it is after many long, dark hours.  But He will come.
